NY GROSSET & DUNLOP Pictorial Cover Good Good
#4 in this popular young childrens series. Postwar edition, estimating around 1948. Book is dark green with dark green lettering and impressed picture of the family in a circle frame, Top/bottom spine have very slight rubbing from shelf wear. 4 corners are good. Endpapers are white with orange illustrations of the children running with the pets, house in background. Front endpaper has small residue of a name sticker. Plain paper frontpiece. Pages, clean and crisp with slight aging along the outer edges only, 215 pages, one blank. DJ is in mylar cover and is very nice. Slight wearing on top and bottom spines. Front cover has one spot of sticker residue under the title. Colors good. Back cover lists the Adventures with Animals, various series by Burgess. Front inside flap lists this series through, ' At Mystery Mansion '. Back inside flap lists Honey Bunch Series through, ' Her First Trip on a Houseboat. Very nice edition to this series.

Green cloth covers, series emblem on fron cover in dark green, as is the printing of the title and author. Covers are clean and bright; top/bottom spine slightly rubbed as are the 4 corners; pages are clean and bright; endpapers are pictorial, orange and white; high gloss picture front, no inserts;22 chapters + advertisements. Mylar slipcover. Nice edition to this series.

#12 in this popular young childrens series. Wartime edition as stated on the title page. Book is dark green , black lettering, with impressed picture of the children in circle. Top/bottom spine, good, with very little rubbing. 4 corners good. Pages all clean and crisp with very slight aging. Endpapers are orange and white, with children /dog, Left front endpaper, inscribed neatly. Plain paper frontpiece. 244 pages with blanks added. DJ in mylar slipcover and is quite nice. Bottom spine has minor chipping and tiny tear that has been taped on reverse side. Top spine has small chip on top left corner. Front cover bottom has tiny repaired tear. Colors good. Back cover and spine are white. Spine has green lettering, back cover lists the Maida books through ' Little Camp'. Front inside flap list this series through ' Echo Valley '. Back inside flap lists the Honey Bunch books through, ' First Twin Playmates '. Very nice edition to this delightful series.
