One of several titles in this publishers Classics series. Book is blue cloth with orange lettering on front cover. Top/bottom spine and 4 corners are slightly rolled from shelf wear. Covers are clean. Pictorial endpapers, B/W illustrations throughout. 235 pages + 2 blanks. Pages are yellowed as typical of these editions BUT are not brittle. Even though the copyright is 1935, the date should be a war edition as the advertisement on the back inside flap is telling all to by War Bonds for Victory. DJ is in mylar slipcover and is fair. Inside of jacket has some taped repairs. Chipping is eveident along the outer edges, normal wearing, top/bottom flapfolds, also minor chips. Inside flap is lists of the titles in this classic series and back inside flap lists the Authorized Editions of Mystery and Adventure.

Book is in mylar protective cover. Nice edition to you classics collection for your young reader.

# R27 in the Rainbow Classic editions from this publisher. Book is pictorial scenes wrapped boards with blue binding with gold lettering. Top/bottom spine are lsightly rubbed as are the 4 corners, but has been protected by the jacket. Pictorial endpapers. Frontpiece is color picture on plain paper of the family. Color and B/W illustrations throughout the book. 366 pages, all clean and tight. DJis in mylar slipcover and is fair. Front cover is wrapped to the spine and shows the ship and island with the authors name in yellow letterting, title in white. Top/bottom spine have minor chipping but there is a cut square about 1" sq. above the publishers name; back cover lists other titles in this series on yellowed white background. Inside front flap is synopsis of this story and back flap lists more titles. Nice edition to this popular classic story.
