This author is also know as Georgette LeBlanc. This book was translated by Alexander Teixeira De Mattos and illustrated by Herbert Paus. There is ar lovely color plate frontpiece and numerous double-sided illustration throughout , blue on white. There is a paste on color picture on the front cover. Pages ( 182 ) are all clean and tight. Book is VG and has the top/bottom spine slightly bent. as are the 4 corners, from shelf wear. Front cover has a color picture paste-on and the title and authors name in gold lettering, as is on the spine. Wonderful, hard to find children's story.
