NY GROSSET & DUNLOP 1943 Hard Cover Very Good Good DOANE, PELAGIE
#16 in this popular juvenile girls series. Book is dark green w/purple lettering, open door emblem on front cover. Top/bottom spine and 4 corners have very slight rubbing. Endpapers are purple/white stair scene, illustrator's signature. War edition, as stated on the title page and has a plain paper frontpiece. Possible 1st, as title is last listed. 207 pages, all clean and tight, but yellowing with age. 4 pages of advertisements at the end and 2 blanks. DJ in Brodart slipcover and is quite nice. Front cover has small chip on top edge near the flap fold. Minor chip on the top/flat fold. Front inside flap lists this series through this title. Spine is white wtih black lettering. Title, author, picture, G & D symbol, publisher then volume number. Top/bottom spine are slightly chipped and top spine has tape from reverse side, from the letter E, into front cover to the letter A . See scan. Back cover lists Beverly Gray series through #13, back inside flap lists Nancy Drew through Quest of Missing Map. Nice edition to this series.

NY GROSSET & DUNLOP 1932 Hard Cover Very Good Good DOANE, PELAGIE
#2 in this popular juvenile girls series. Book is dark green, purple lettering. Copyright date 1932 but this is later edition as has the war notice. Top/bottom spine and 4 corners are slightly rubbed. Endpapers are the purple/white, stairway scene with Judy and the flashlight. Highgloss frontpiece. 212 pages + 4 pages of advertisements for other series. Pages all clean and tight but are yellowing with age. DJ is in a brodart slipcover and quite nice. Rement of tape on top spine that is chipped along the top. Bottom spine, very minor wearing. Back cover has wrinkled, repaired from the reverse side, tear. Back flap fold has tiny chip in the middle of the fold. Front cover is slight rub on Judy's neck where a glass was set, minor wearing on the top/bottom of flap folds. DJ is white spine with title and author in black lettering, picture of Judy, G&D symbol, publishers name then volume number. Back cover lists Nancy Drew through Quest of Missing Map. Back inside flap lists 1-12 of Beverly Gray, front inside flap lists 1-15 of this series. Very nice edition to this series.

#3 in this popular juvenile girls series. Book is lime green, indicating later printing, purple lettering and the open door emblem on front cover. Top/bottom spine, slightly rolled, and 4 corners, good. Endpapers are the stair scene wtih inscription of owners name on the right endpaper. left endpaper has reminents of white paper, like the DJ was stuck to it. Also the paper next to this is slightly wrinkled. High gloss frontpiece. All pages, 213 + 2 advertisement pages , are clean and tight, no aging. DJ is in brodart slipcover and is poor. Front cover has 2.5' x 1.5' chip on lower right hand corner. Flap fold top/bottoms have minor chipping. White spine has reverse side tape repair on top and bottom and bottom spine edge, near the fron cover. Tape and yellowed and stained through. Back cover is good, minor wearing and lists the Melody Lane series through the Secret of the Kashmir Shawl. Back inside flap lists Nancy Drew through the Mystery at the Moss-covered Mansion. Front inside flap lists this series through the the Clue in the Patchwork Quilt. Very nice edition to this series.

Top/bottom spine, 4 corners are slightly rubbed. Endpapers are lavendar/white stair scene. Inscribed on reverse side of frontpiece with the owners name, neatly in ink. Back of dedication page is list of this series through this title only. 25 chapters, 250 pages, all tight and clean. DJ is in a brodart slipcover and is fair. Small chip on front cover over the ' s ' in HOUSE. Closed tear on ' o ' of Bolton on top front edge. Top/bottom spine have yelloed tape reinforcement. Top/bottom of the flap folds, minor chipping. Back cover, clean and good, listing Beverly Gray through #13. Back inside flap lists Nancy Drew through Secret in the Old Attic. Front inside flap lists this series through the SEcret of the Barred Window. Very nice edition to this series.

Book is red tweed with the series emblem on the lower right hand corner of front cover along with the " a Judy Bolton Mystery " next to it. Top/bottom spine are slightly rubbed from shelf wear; 4 corners are good ; binding tight; covers clean. All pages are clean and tight. 23 chapters; 212 pages. Endpapers are the burgandy and cream; haunted house on the right and the leafless tree on the left. DJ is in a mylar protective cover. Front cover inside flap is missing. Minor chipping along the top/bottom edges of front cover. Chipping on the top/bottom spine. Back cover has a chip on the top right hand corner, some wearing along the bottom edge. Back cover is clean and lists the Vicki Barr series. Inside back flap lists the Nancy Drew series through the Haunted Showboat. Colors are bright on front jacket cover. Great edition for the series collector.
