/great, humorous story by the author of Miricle on 34th Street. Book is tan tweed, plain covers, lettering on spine only. Top/bottom spine are slightly rubbed as are 4 corners. Covers are clean. Endpapers are plain paper and left front one has owners name, printed neatly in ink. Right front end paper shoes outline of dustjacket flap. 224 pages, all clean and tight. Dj is in mylar slipcover and is poor. Front inside flap is missing, chipping along bottom front edge; chipping on the top/bottom spine and the bottom soine chip goies into the publishers name; lower right corner of the back page of DJ shows a stain and has minor crazing along lower edge; top edge of back cover has tiny repair from the inside and a small crease next to ir. Back inside flap has the rest of the synopsis of this title. Back cover is bio of the author. Fun story.

Book is light green cloth with title and author on dark green frame with gold lettering bordered by the gold emblem of Modern Library. Top/bottom spine slightly rolled; 4 corners are good. End papers are modern library pictorial emblem. 254 pages are tight and some pages have paragraphs underlined as if important for study. Neatly done but is in ink. I think this was used in a literature course!. Otherwise all pages are clean and tight. DJ is in brodart slipcover and is good. A tiny bit of rubbing on the flap fold corners and on top/bottom spine. Iside of jacket is a complet list of books by this publisher.

Beautiful green cloth bound with decorative floral front cover with gold framed title and author in dark green lettering. Spine also has decoration on it. Top/bottom spine has slight rubbing, but miniscule. Four corners, very good. Pages are all decorated with light green floral borders. Color plates are very bright and beautiful illustrations by Williams. Each plate has a quotation from the poem. All pages are a highgloss paper. All poems and rhymes are done in dialect. Contents include. Jane Jones, The Pessimist, If I should Die, When the Stage Gits In, If My Wife Taught School, etc. Delightful collection. Hard to find edition. This was first copyrighted in 1894, and then in 1898 by Aseneth Bell King and then this edition in 1909 by Forbes and Company.

This author wrote many title for young girls in the 20's and 30's. There were only two titles by this author about Rosemary that I can find. Book is red cloth cover with black lettering. High gloss frontpiece, no internals. 27 chapters, 308 pages, all clean and crisp. Top/bottom spine slightly rolled from shelf wearing. Four corners are good. Jacket is in protective slipcover. Front inside flap has been peice clipped and lists books by this author. Back inside flap is note to parents about books from this publisher. Back jacket cover lists the Penny Parker stores by Mildred Wirt. Top/bottom spine showing slight rubbing, otherwise this jacket looks like new. Very nice edition from this author.

Victorian literary style. Beautiful, hard to find book in this style and illustrated.

Plain paper frontpiece + 3other b/w illustrations. 25 chapters,479 pages + advertisements, all clean and tight.

Humorus satire on royalty, fairy tales of princes and pricess; Sub-title to the book is " The History of Prince Giglio and Prince Bulbo. Very comical illustrations in red-ink on every page; Front cover has impressed rose and ring being held by a cherub in blue/ red/gold on white background; covers have a couple of tiny soil marks but otherwise are very clean, having been protected in the cardboard slipcover; endpapers are pictorial of the characters, drawn in red on cream background; all pages clean and tight; cardboard slipcover is poor but intact and has numerous marks and stains but has kept the book clean. A terrific satire and more for the young adult or adult rather than for young children.
