The most charming illustrations in color throughout by Johnny Gruelle, author of the Raggedy Ann series. Hard to find book with just his illustrations. This author put together wonderful rhymes and poetry. The endpapers are colored illustrations on a black flowered background. Book is very good, with normal wearing of the cloth along the edges of the spine and the top/bottom spine are slightly bent. Four corners are good with a touch of rubbing. All pages are clean and tight. Very nice edition for your collection.
