Top/bottom spine has slight rubbing, but miniscule. Four corners, very good. Pages are all decorated with light green floral borders. Color plates are very bright and beautiful illustrations by Williams. Each plate has a quotation from the poem. All pages are a highgloss paper. All poems and rhymes are done in dialect. Contents include. Jane Jones, The Pessimist, If I should Die, When the Stage Gits In, If My Wife Taught School, etc. Delightful collection. Hard to find edition. This was first copyrighted in 1894, and then in 1898 by Aseneth Bell King and then this edition in 1909 by Forbes and Company.
