This edition also contains 3 other stories by Kipling. Baa Baa Black Sheep, His Majesty the King and The Drums of the Fore and Aft. Book is nice and is red cloth with gold lettering on the front cover with a decorative design. 4 corners are slightly rolled and show the beginning of slight fraying. Top/bottom spine are good. The spine color is lighter red than the covers and the gold on the title is slightly faded, but still readable. The bottom and side edges of the pages are the uneven cut. Pages are all clean and tight. Inscription in ink, neatly done on the right front endpaper.The seam is beginning to open slightly between the right front endpaper on the top and the bottom but still attached. Nice edition to this hard to find title.
