One of many titles by this author of young childrens' stories. This is stated as a 1st edition-1960. Book is pale lavender covers, top/bottom spine are VG as are the 4 corners. Covers are clean, picture of Timmy and racoon on front cover. Endpapers are plain and do have the impression of the DJ flap. Very nice b/w illustrations throughout. DJ is in Brodart slipcover and is very nice. Small closed tear at the bottom front cover near the spine. tiny chip on the flap fold top. Inside flap is synopsis of this title and back flap is the coupon and bookmark from the bookclub. Very nice edition for your young reader. Cute story.
