#4 in this popular boys series. Book is red cloth with silver border on front cover and title is silver also. Lettering on spine is silver and just the title is printed on the spine. Top/bottom spine and 4 corners are VG. Plain endpapers, no illustrations. Pages all clean and tight but have aging color, but pages are NOT brittle. DJ is in brodart slipcover. Top/bottom spine have minimal wearing, along all edges. Back cover lists juvenile books, various series and there is a small, top layer of jacket,missing toward the bottom. Spot is like what happens when a sticker is removed. Some rubbing on front cover of jacket. 4 corners top/bottoms of fold have tiny chipping. Inside flap lists this series, back inside flap lists Alger series, and The World Wide Series. Good edition to this scout series.
