This is #4 in this popular boys series from the 50's. Book is dark tan and top/bottom spine slightly rolled, 4 corners are good. Covers clean. Endpapers are plain and right front one has slight impression of the where the DJ rested before being put into a slipcover. Pages all clean and tight, with just a tiny bit of yellowing beginning along the outer edges.. DJ in a Brodart slipcover and has some small chips on the top front cover, one going into the spine and there is one small chip in the middle of the spine.. Rest of DJ is chip free. Colors are bright. Back cover lists this series. Back inside flap, introduction to this series and front inside flap is synopsis of this title. Nice edition.
