Left front endpaper is inscribed Nov. 1946 to the owner. No copyright date is listed Title page has color illustration. Each page opposite page of text has 4 color pictures with text underneath, in a quad formation. Very nice. page 14 and 15 have erase marks on the bottom edge, where a child wrote his or her name. Marks not into the text or illustrations, otherwise-ALL pages are clean and tight. Great edition of this hard to find British series.
