This little book is a collection of 20 Bible verses for young children. Book is green with b/w illustration on the front cover. Jacket has same picture. Top/bttom spine are slightly rubbed and 4 corners are good. Endpapers are pictorial, green and white. Pages all clean and tight. Looks like a 1st edition as it has an ' A' on the last page and front title page has just the one date. Verses are quoted from the King James Version and the American Standard Version of the bible. DJ is in a brodart slipcover. Top/bottom spine and edges all have minimal wearing and show the beginning of foxing. Top edge of front cover has two small closed tears and the 4 corner flap folds, top/bottoms have tiny chipping. All in all a nice jacket. Great book for your young child to introduce the bible.
