Book is red cloth with balc lettering on the title on frontcover, and spine. Top/bottom spine, 4 corners, covers are excellent. Endpapers are plain paper frontpiece in b/w and b/w illustrations throughout. DJ is in a brodart slipcover and is very nice. Minimal wearing along the top/bottom spine and 1 tiny closed tear on the bottom front cover , near the spine. DJ is a wrap with picture front and back. Front inside flap is synopsis of this story and back flap has synopsis of tw other horse stories. Very nice edtion for the horse lover.
