Photographs throughout the book whcih covers Yellowstone National Park, Sequoia National Forest, Grand Canyon, Mammoth Cave, NYC, Arizona, Panama Canel and much more. Book is blue with dark blue lettering, plain cover. DJ is in a mylar cover and is poor. Chips on the top/bottom of front cover, near the spine, 4 corner flap folds, top/bottom are also chipped. Top/bottom spine , chipping. rubbing along spine edges. Back cover is good and lists other large Platt & Munk books, like Children of other lands, etc. 146 pages, all crisp and clean. Great text for supplemental home schooling for geography and social studies.
