One of many titles by this author about sports. Book is light brown cloth with black lettering on the front cover and spine. Top/bottom spine are slightly rolled and rubbed. 4 corners are good. Pages are yellowing but not brittle. Yellowing on the outer edges only. 242 pages + blanks. DJ is in a mylar cover and is fair. This wrap jacket only to the spine. Top/bottom spine have chipping and the top chip takes out some of the title, bottom chipping is minor. Back cover is white and clean, has a tiny closed tear on the bottom edge near the fold. Top edge has minor wearing. Back cover lists Books for Boys by this publisher and front inside flap is a synopsis of this story. Back inside flap is blank. Great edition for the sports buff.
