This the 1st reader in the basic readers of the Alice and Jerry Books. 208 pages with vocabulary. Endpapers are plain and has school stamp on left one. Table of Contents: ALICE AND JERRY AND JACK; THE ORGAN MAN AND THE MONKEY; BOBBY AND BILLY; THE OLD, OLD CAR; THE WILD DUCKS AND THE LITTLE FROG; LITTLE DEER; HAPPY TIMES; THE NEW BIRD. Teacher wrote questions and notes neatly in pencil throughout the book and underlined some words. Very neat and lightly written. I have not erased them. Good teaching tools. Book has wrapped pictorial covers and the colors are bright. Top/bottom spines and 4 corners are good. Very little wearing on this book. Excellent for your 1st grader.
