One of many titles in this horse series by this publisher.Copyright date is 1938 but I'm guessing that this is a late 40's or early 50's reprint. Book is blue tweed and is good. 4 corners are slightly rounded, as is top/bottom spine and are slightly rubbed. Covers clean and have the series emblem on the front cover. Endpapers are slightly foxed and have an impression of the dj. The 1st two pages, a blank and the 1st title page also have a couple of foxing spots only, otherwise all pages are clean and tight. Dj is in a mylar cover and is quite good. Minimal wearing along the edges. Minor tape repair on reverse side of top of spine; bottom spine is good; back cover is white and clean and lists the titles in this series. Very nice edition. Original copyright is 1938, but I'm guessing that this is an early 50's reprint.
